The Government of Puerto Rico, through the Puerto Rico Tourism Company, is providing guidance to the local travel and tourism sector in order to establish appropriate prevention, preparedness and response measures to reduce the potential risks associated with COVID-19 after the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the outbreak a Public Health Emergency of International Concern. As of March 3rd, Puerto Rico has no suspected of confirmed cases of COVID-19, but given that community spread has been reported elsewhere in the Americas, the local population should remain alert and follow the simple guidance provided by State, National and International authorities.
